Reflective encoders

Nanotec offers reflective encoders that can be combined with very small BLDC and stepper motors. Their compact size makes them ideal for use in confined spaces.

The NOE incremental encoders utilize a special measuring principle where light is projected onto the encoder disk at an angle, reflecting back to a photodetector. This arrangement allows for both the light source and detector to be situated on the same side of the disk, optimizing space efficiency. 

Equipped with an integrated line driver, reflective encoders resist electrical interference, ensuring consistent signal quality even over extended connection cables. They are commonly used in laboratory automation, in measurement and testing technology.

These encoders are only available as combination articles. They must be mounted by Nanotec.

NOE1 – 3-channel miniature encoder

Encoder with dimensions of 20 x 26 x 10 mm for BLDC and stepper motors. With 500 to 2,000 pulses per revolution. Optimal synchronization, even at slow speeds.

Optical 3-Channel Encoder NOE2 with integrated Linedriver in 5V and 24V for stepper motors, Linear actuators and BLDC motors

NOE2 – Optical 3-channel encoder

Encoder with dimensions of 31 x 37 x 11.5 mm for stepper and BLDC motors. Available in 5 V or 24 V versions. With 1,000 to 16,000 pulses per revolution.
