The WD wheel drive consists of a wheel, integrated planetary gearbox and bearing in one short unit. Combining Nanotec’s wheel drives with our motors and controllers results in compact systems that simplify the development and production of self-propelled systems, such as service robots or Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs).
The wheel drives can be ordered with and without a mounting bracket. For series production Nanotec also offers press-on tires made from special composite materials.
The WD wheel drives are available in combination with motors in different sizes:
NEMA 23 NEMA 24 60 MM 90 mm
For applications that require repeated and dynamic braking, the WD wheel drives are available with a pre-mounted motor brake.
