APBA60 –  Brushless DC motor IP65 – 60 mm

Brushless DC motor - with holding brake option

With their rated power of up to 400 W, the high-performance BLDC motors of the APBA60 series not only match the power of AC servo motors with 60 mm flange but are also mechanically compatible. The DC motors are rated IP65 and come standard with integrated encoder (-E) or with encoder and brake (-EB). 

  • Two lengths, 200 and 400 W rated power
  • 48 V rated voltage; 3,000 rpm rated speed
  • Encoder resolution: 2,500 CPR/10,000 PPR incremental 
  • Holding brake: 1.3 Nm
  • Can be combined with Nanotec’s C5-E, N5 and CL4-E (-E only) motor controller/drive

The motors of the APBA60 series are especially suited for battery-powered applications, such as AGVs or service robots, because of their low voltage. They are also safe for use in medical or other environments where standard AC servos would require additional insulation and safety measures.
