BWA – Spring-loaded brakes
With the BRAKE-BWA, Nanotec offers an electrically operated spring-loaded brake with an extremely compact design for use as a static holding brake. It can be mounted directly to motors with a shaft diameter of 5 or 6.35 mm. If the motor has a long B shaft, an encoder can also be mounted directly on the brake. As the brake comes with threaded holes, no additional adapter plate is necessary. Available in two sizes.
