Switching power supplies
Switching power supplies serve as a constant voltage and current source for ensuring a constant output voltage and thus a constant torque at different loads.
Advantages:
- Efficiency of up to 90%
- Compliance with international and European standards with regard to radio interference suppression and electrical safety
- Simple DIN rail or top-hat rail mounting
- Active PFC control and thus better EMC compatibility
- Well-regulated output voltage with very low residual ripple
- Parallel operation for higher powers and serial operation for higher voltages possible (please see data sheet)
- High protection circuit against short-circuit, overload, overvoltage and overtemperature according to UL508
