NME3 –  Compact magnetic encoder

NME3

The NME3 encoder measures the motor position by detecting changes in the magnetic field generated by the encoder magnet mounted on the motor shaft.

This compact encoder is available with either an incremental interface, which includes commutation signals for BLDC motors, or a serial SSI interface.

  • Incremental resolution: 500 – 4,096 CPR
  • SSI resolution: 16 bit
  • Max. speed: 30,000 rpm
  • For shaft diameters of 4 mm, 5 mm and 6.35 mm

Thanks to its modular design, the NME3 can be combined with a wide array of brushless DC motors and stepper motors starting from size NEMA 8.
