NME2 –  High-resolution magnetic encoder

magnetic encoder with high resolution

The NME2 magnetic encoder measures the motor position via two separate channels. The absolute value is determined through scanning and transmitted either incrementally – along with commutation signals for BLDC motors – or serially via an SSI interface.

  • Incremental resolution: 4,096 PPR/16,384 CPR
  • SSI resolution: 17 bit, single-turn absolute
  • Max. Speed: 12,000 rpm
  • For shaft diameters up to 15 mm

Thanks to its modular design and off-axis position measurement, the NME2 can be combined with various motor types, including brushless DC and stepper motors as well as hollow shaft motors, and linear actuators.
