For applications that require repeated and dynamic braking, the wheel drives from Nanotec are now available with a pre-mounted motor brake. BRAKE-BWA-1.3-8-DYN is designed for a reduction ratio of 11, and BRAKE-BWA-0.8-8-DYN is designed for reduction ratios of 16 and 20.
Both brakes can only be ordered with a wheel drive and a motor and will be installed by Nanotec. As the motors will be adapted individually for any combination, the minimum batch size is 10 units for an order.
These brakes are also available with a lever for manual release – please request more information or a quote from your Area Sales Manager.
Both brakes are enclosed in a housing that protects them against environmental influences and the ingress of objects. They can be combined with motors with flange size NEMA 23/24 and 80 mm as well as motors of the APBA60 and DFA90 series.
The motor controllers/drives and encoders from Nanotec, which are easy to program and enable precise control of the vehicle, are the perfect addition to our wheel drives with brake and motor.
