Overtemperature protection
Above a temperature of approx. 80 °C on the power board the power part of the controller switches off and the error bit is set (see objects 1001h and 1003h). After cooling down and confirming the error (see table for the controlword, "Fault reset"), the controller again functions normally.

Note: Aside from the motor, the exact temperature
behavior is also dependent on the flange connection and the heat transfer there as
well as on the convection in the application. For this reason, we recommend always
performing an endurance test in the actual environment for applications in which
current level and ambient temperature pose a problem.
